About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee our payment operations, KYC onboarding, and technical sales functions. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our processes while driving operational excellence and client success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment operations, leadership skills, and an understanding of technical integration and client onboarding.
What you will do
- Payment Operations Supervision
- Oversee payment operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processing across 24/7 shifts
- Supervise shift scheduling, rotation plans, and handover processes managed by the senior ops lead
- Monitor transaction workflows, settlement processes, and reconciliation activities
- Ensure payment processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize operations
- KYC Onboarding Oversight
- Oversee the client onboarding process, including KYC and KYB procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for client documentation and verification
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain up-to-date onboarding policies
- Monitor KYC/KYB metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Technical Sales Supervision
- Supervise the technical sales team responsible for client API integration and support
- Ensure the team delivers exceptional client experiences and smooth integrations
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify process improvement opportunities
- Strategy and Process Optimization
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize payment operations, KYC onboarding, and technical sales processes
- Identify and prioritize initiatives for process automation, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects and initiatives
- Team Leadership and Development
- Provide leadership and guidance to team leads in payment operations, KYC onboarding, and technical sales
- Foster a positive team culture and promote collaboration and communication
- Support team leads in conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing development plans
- Reporting and Analysis
- Review and analyze regular reports on operational performance, KPIs, and key metrics
- Leverage data-driven insights to make strategic decisions and recommendations to senior management
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field
- 3-4 years of experience in operations or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
- Understanding of payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, APIs, and industry best practices
- Familiarity with KYC/KYB processes and regulatory compliance in the fintech or financial services industry
